Overview

Greeneworks Tattoo Studio reached out to refresh their brand. This consisted of redesigning their current logo that has already become recognizable in the area and creating a consistent catalog of brand assets and brand guidelines.

Constructing the logo

The new logo draws inspiration from the previous. Keeping that recognizability while adding a modern timeless spin. Using traditional Celtic design as the back bone, this new logo uses concentric shapes and perpendicular lines to create the “GW” monogram in the center.

the full primary and secondary “stacked” logo were constructed using the height of the “GREENEWORKS” text. Divided into 3 equal pieces, that height was used as the spacing between “GREENEWORKS” and “TATTOO STUDIO”. It was also used as the spacing between the works and the logo mark.

additional assets

A full catalogue of logos in different color variations were created for different use on social, print, and web material. Along with that, a list of unique brand colors, fonts, and guidelines were created and delivered to the client.
